Mental Health

Independence is invaluable however sometimes a short-term or long-term mental health condition can make it harder to live independently. In these moments, United We Care can offer the support that truly makes a difference to your life and well-being.

Together we will look at how we can best support you, ensuring that you maintain control over your life and mental health. If your needs change, we will adjust our support to meet your new circumstances.

Our in-house wellbeing advisors can support your mental wellbeing by being a listening ear whilst our carers assist with tasks that may be difficult, such as personal care, cleaning, or cooking. We can also support you in engaging in activities that will benefit your overall well-being, including spending time with family and friends, participating in sports or leisure, working full or part-time, volunteering, or continuing your education.

For your safety and peace of mind, as well as the reassurance of your family and loved ones, our carers are trained and experienced in managing challenging behaviour.

Supported Living

. Our Supported Living Services are designed to provide 24-hour care for people with reduced ability to care for themselves, allowing them to continue living in their own homes. Supported living means providing support to people living in their own homes within the community, enabling them to live as independently as possible while maintaining their tenancies. At United We Care, we are committed to promoting independence and gradually reducing support as service users become more capable of managing on their own. We understand that each person is unique, and we take great care in preparing a Person-Centred Plan tailored specifically to your needs. As we provide ongoing support, we continually monitor the outcomes to ensure you are achieving your goals. For those who require personal care, we offer our Domiciliary Care Service within our Supported Living offering, ensuring that you receive the right level of care and support every step of the way.

At United We Care, we are here to support you in every aspect of your life, helping you achieve greater independence, build confidence, and be an active part of your community. Together, we can create the life you want, with the care and support you deserve.

Learning Disability

At United We Care, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live life on their terms, regardless of any impairments or disabilities. You do not need to live differently just because you may need a little extra help - you do need to live safely. Our mission is to make your life or that of your loved one calmer, supporting with daily tasks and routines. We are dedicated to empowering individuals with learning disabilities, helping them develop essential daily living skills, build relationships, and boost their confidence. Our gradual transition models make it possible for individuals to move through different levels of care and towards greater independence.

United we care work closely with you, your family, and those who matter most to you, to decide the best way we can help and create a support plan tailored to fit your life. Whether it is assisting with everyday tasks like getting up, washing, personal hygiene, or bedtime routines, or supporting you with shopping, meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning, we are here to help. We also believe that being part of your local community is crucial for your well-being, so we can support you to attend religious services, social events, or any activities you enjoy. We can also help you stay connected with family and friends, either through visits, phone calls, or emails, and help with practical tasks such as collecting prescriptions.
